BMW Group
Lead UX/UI Designer
2002 - 2008 – Munich, Germany
From 2002 to 2008, I helped shape the digital future of some of the most iconic automotive brands in the world.
As Lead UX/UI Designer at BMW Group, I wasn’t just designing screens – I was translating brand DNA into intuitive, emotionally engaging human-machine interfaces. From show cars to production vehicles, I created experiences that blended elegance, emotion, and engineering precision.
Crafted MINI’s first digital UI identity – translating its bold, playful, and unconventional spirit into an iconic in-car experience that still resonates today.
Led UX and UI design across BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce, balancing the unique identities of each brand with cutting-edge usability and interaction logic.
Delivered full HMI systems for production – from concept to rollout – in close collaboration with engineering, software, and brand teams.
Designed future-forward showcars that pushed the boundaries of what digital experience could look and feel like inside a vehicle.
Embedded brand storytelling into UI long before “brand experience” became a trend – each pixel, icon, and animation was rooted in meaning.
